What is Strivectin?
What do they mean by ‘Better than Botox’ ?
Actually, its quite hard to find studies that independently confirm the effectiveness of Strivectin, although there are numerous anectodal reports online.
The ingredient, called 5% Striadil Complex, is proprietary, and studies are primarily by Drs. Klein and Becker (see Klein/Becker site).
Their website states that Striadil contains a chemical related to Pal-KTTKS, which in a study by Farris (P. Farris, Cosmeceutical critique: peptides, Skin & Allergy News 35 (2004), p. 30), was shown to decrease skin roughness and improve wrinkles. Strivectin was initially developed for stretch marks, and the use has subsequently expanded to include wrinkles and aging skin.
